The First and Final Release is Here.

This has been one hell of an endeavor. As mentioned in a previous devlog, I'm not a creative person, but this idea stuck with me and wouldn't go away. I've learned new skills and pushed myself further than I thought I could go. Even with only being able to afford a single character's sprites, I made the best of what I had. This only meant that I had to be creative in other ways, further motivating me to put whatever I had into it. I'd like to thank you for your support, it was truly invigorating to see people excited for this little project, and I hope that you enjoy playing it as much as I did making it.

P.S: The project file for this game is exactly 1GB. This is a pure coincidence, and I thought it was pretty funny (Itch has a limit of 1GB). Before file size optimization and getting rid of unused files, the project file sat around 4.73GB, and thus I had to trim a lot of fat before creating a build. Looking back on it, I wish I did my BG's as a .webp and not .jpg. I was still under the impression that .webp sucks, but man that would have made my life a lot easier if I exported as .webp. Oh well, we live and we learn.

Gotta say, I've yet to read this novel, but I didn't expect something like an Initial D-style (minus the mountain racing) VN. Pretty unique take. :o

Thank you. One of my main motivations behind this project was the uniqueness of this concept. Hopefully people enjoy it and give feedback on it, I’d love to hear people’s thoughts!
